I call it “the second” because last year I painted a similar one inspired by reminiscences of my many wondrous snorkelling adventures in coral reefs around the world. The vibrant yellow is a conduit to reliving that exciting hopeful feeling I always have when I explore new places. Now, I am yearning for a sense of harmony and hope.
