This piece flowed out of me when I needed to manifest a sense of calm. I was upset by a mistake I made, and turned to my brush and canvas to cheer myself up. It’s like the exhale after a hot cup of tea or mulled wine when I’ve come in from the cold. A sense of vitality and warmth reverberates through every bone, reminding me that there is joy in the satisfaction of getting back on track.
