This painting is an exploration of depth. A crevasse is formed, often in a glacier, when stress results in a shift. Painting is like that for me sometimes, it’s the movement I have no choice but to embrace when I feel under pressure. The beauty in standing on the edge peering into unfathomable depths is thrilling to me. What lurks beneath the surface is always worth exposing.
