‘Look How The Stars Shine For You I’ (2022), 80cm x 80cm acrylic on wood panels, graphite, matte varnish. This painting is a story of self-affirmation. I have felt a powerful surge of love in my life lately, and I’m allowing the wave to bring me to new heights of appreciation and contentment. It’s love for the life that I have, for the way I’m now able to articulate my feelings through my art, and for the authentic self within that has never given up on fully being seen. I believe the stars shine for each one of us who reach this point of acceptance and empowerment, and especially to guide those of us still struggling to get there.
