This painting tells the story of embracing boldness. The title song (by Orchestral Manoeuvres In the Dark) starts with the line “Climb the mountain of your fear,” and that is exactly what being an emerging artist feels like sometimes. Actually, I am quite certain that everyone who lives in vulnerability, hearts on their sleeves (or canvases, in my case), feels this way much of the time. But the exhilaration at the top of the mountain? It’s always worth it. Be bold, people!
