This painting is in praise of perpetual growth. I decided to paint over one of my earliest canvases, as I have developed my style quite a lot even though I still consider myself to be in the emergent phase of my artistic career. What I found as I worked was a curiosity for pushing the boundaries of learning, an appreciation for this art form that evolves with me, and a gratitude for the human spirit’s infinite appetite for personal growth.
