This painting is a story of equality, inspired by the idea of a drum circle. I am drawn to percussion in music, I always hear the drum beat above everything else. And I appreciate the inclusiveness of a drum circle. It is an end in itself, no head nor tail, open to everyone willing to contribute his or her rhythm to the cacophony of stories.
