This painting is an experiment of blues. I had been working with one of these aqua blue-green hues in another piece, taking it as dark and dreamy as it could go. I felt its more vibrant and playful notes calling out to me as I worked, so I experimented. This mysterious underwater universe came into my vision and I love the way it reminds me that life everywhere finds a way to be seen. Tasmanian oak frame.
