‘Piece Of My Heart’ (2026), 140cm x 140cm acrylic on canvas, oil sticks, pencil, ink.
‘Piece of My Heart’ is my tribute to the extraordinary life and spirit of Janis Joplin. Inspired by her first major hit, the painting is filled with colour, energy, emotion and little details that reflect the woman behind the music. Janis lived fiercely, loved deeply and left an unforgettable mark on rock ’n’ roll — this is my little piece of her story.
