'Moss Rock'
Moss Rock (2022), 81cm x 81cm acrylic on canvas, charcoal, markers, gel gloss. Price includes Tasmanian Oak Frame.
This one’s called Moss Rock, and for me, it’s all about those quiet, earthy places that feel ancient and alive at the same time. You know when you're out walking and you spot a rock totally covered in moss? It’s soft and vibrant, but solid underneath—like nature’s version of resilience with a touch of softness. That’s what I was thinking about as this painting came together.
The rich greens, warm golds and glowing oranges in here remind me of those damp, shady spots where the light sneaks in just right. There’s a sense of stillness to it, but it also feels like something is quietly growing or shifting beneath the surface.
Moss Rock is for those who love that feeling of being grounded, connected to something old and rooted—but with just enough mystery to keep you curious.
