‘Illusion’ (2022), 100cm x 100cm acrylic on canvas, chalk, graphite.

This piece is called Illusion—because not everything is exactly what it seems at first glance. Shapes drift in and out of focus, lines start to suggest something familiar and then disappear again. It’s all about that playful tension between what's real, what's imagined, and everything that lives in between.

I kept the palette cool and neutral with little hits of bold red—like a trick of the light or a flash of meaning that flickers and fades. Some parts feel structured and solid, while others are soft and ghost-like, as if they might just float away. It’s a bit like life, really—always shifting, always open to interpretation.

Illusion is for anyone who likes art with layers—both visually and emotionally. It invites a second look… and maybe even a third.
